TRAINERS

Our trainers won’t shout at you, scream, or push you beyond your limits. They will help you improve, advise on technique, and recommend what and how to train to get the most out of your workout while avoiding injury. They will adjust your training or suggest compensatory exercises if you have any pain or are recovering from surgery, childbirth, or an injury. Trainers prepare for sessions during regular team briefings and continually undergo internal coach development. All our trainers do the same workouts as you in class and you’ll often see them working out alongside you, so motivation is guaranteed!

EQUIPMENT

You’ll find not only men's, women's, and junior barbells but also plenty of 0.5 kg plates and large training plates (large diameter, light weight). Our entire floor is reinforced, so you can drop weights anywhere (as long as they are loaded with at least yellow plates). You don't need to aim for any cushioning mats. We offer various types of pull-up bars (thicker, narrower, smoother, higher, lower) and magnesium to ensure your grip is strong! Available equipment includes rowers, bike ergs, assault bikes, echo bikes, ski ergometers, pegboard, bench press benches, sleds, high and low rings, ropes, GHD, jerk boxes, and trap bars.

OPEN GYM

We have a fully equipped LARGE separate area dedicated to your individual training (open gym). If you can't find something you need, you can bring it from other parts of the gym. The capacity of the open gym during classes is limited to ensure you never have to worry about a lack of space or equipment. As a member, you can use the open gym outside of class times according to the reservation system. You can also play your own music to set the perfect mood.

REGENERATION

As a member, you have access to the Finnish sauna and ice-cold baths. The sauna is also open to the public (so you can bring a friend). In addition to the sauna, you can recover your legs with compression pants or borrow a massage gun.

SESSIONS

We offer classes in the morning, midday, and evening, as well as on weekends and holidays. Our capacity is limited, so you will always have enough space and equipment for your workout, and a trainer who can focus on you. Classes are not canceled even if you are the only one signed up, so you can count on them! Check out our reservation system. Our space is air-conditioned in the summer and heated to a comfortable temperature in the winter :).

COMBINATION OF SPORTS

If you love combining CrossFit with other sports, the pool is just across the hall, and the running track is only a few minutes from the gym. Renting pool equipment or a weighted vest for running is easy. Basic running distances are marked around the gym and can be used even in the rain—they’re covered by the stands :).

Body composition measurement

Not only can we measure the amount of muscle, fat, water, and other components in different parts of your body, but we can also explain the results in simple terms and recommend actions to improve them based on your goals.

 

 

STROGRAMMING

For members looking for more than just group classes, we offer STRogramming, an enhancement of our group workouts. With STRogramming, you’ll train without overloading any part of your body. As a bonus, STRogramming includes race preparation and, during the summer, running and swimming workouts.

CROSSFIT STRAHOV MEMBERS MEET

Every month or so, we organize a meeting at the gym for our members, where we discuss a selected topic (e.g., recovery techniques, nutrition, how competitions work, dealing with injuries). We also provide an opportunity to ask any questions related to the gym and its activities, or to come up with ideas that we try to implement to make our members feel more comfortable with us.

CHALLENGES

You’ll also encounter challenges with us that will help you progress not just in CrossFit but in everyday life. We’ve had a nutrition challenge where we learned to eat better, as well as challenges to improve mobility, pull-ups, and push-ups. During the summer, we have a running challenge, and in the fall, we’re planning a barbell challenge, so you won’t have to worry about a lack of activities.

ACCESS TO TRAININGS

With your membership, you have access to workout schedules, so you can see what will be programmed in the coming days. You can also record your results and the weights you use, so you’ll know what to work with next time.

CROSSFIT OPEN & GYM GAMES

The CrossFit Open is a major event that we strive to involve as many of our members as possible. In addition, we host member-only competitions twice a year to give everyone a chance to experience a different atmosphere.

NEW MERCHANDISE

We prepare new clothing designs for you multiple times a year, including t-shirts, hoodies, and socks 🙂

LOCKER RENTAL

You can store your workout shoes in our shoe racks, and if you need more space, we have private lockers available for rent.
